FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  We do one-to-one and group tutoring for Grades K-12 students.  Tutoring sessions are prearranged based on the tutoring plan selected. However, changes may be made with at least 24-hour prior notification.  Minimum tutoring time is one hour.  

Parents or older children may request more hours for each session in advance.  

We provide one-to-one tutoring focused on the student's actual academic requirements. Our operations are centralized and we do regular monitoring of student sessions as part of our quality control procedures.  Students get the benefit of both individual tutoring and monitored home practice. Timing is flexible, and students get more hours for the same price charged by the competition.  We offer online support, after-session progress reports, as well as, a rewards program as an added incentive to our students.

All our tutors are either college level students or graduates. We do not base qualification merely on school credentials and experience.  To qualify, they also have to pass a number of assessment tests, background check, and undergo training.   They are assessed of their ability and knowledge of all elementary and high school subjects, and how well they can relate to the common core standard.  And most importantly, we see to it that they have the passion for helping students.

  As much as possible, we have the student receive instruction from the same tutor.  However, we are not able to guarantee, as changes in requirements and unforseen circumstances may not always make it possible for us to do so.  Nonetheless, we keep a complete log of your child’s activities and only a well-qualified tutor who handles the same subject(s) or case shall be assigned to handle the job.

  Unused hours may be rescheduled within the same month, but cannot be carried forward to the following month.

We will make sure to contact you back as soon as possible when needed and if so requested.  

  All payments are due in advance.  The following month's payment is due by 5 pm on the last business day of the current month. 

  You may convert to another plan within 10 days from the day you purchased your current plan.  

 Additional hours may be purchased by parents or students with active plans.

We accept cash, check, fund transfer, charter school voucher, and credit or debit card payments. 

A  $25 NSF fee is charged for returned checks, and a 5% fee is charged when a request for return payment is made for unused sessions.

 If we do not receive any notification from you to cancel a previously arranged tutoring session, or if notification is received late, the number of hour(s) missed for that session shall be treated as billable hours and shall be deducted from the amount you paid.
